Russia’s FSB thinks of something

The FSB, a draft law that when buying a USB-modems require registration of passport data, reported "Novye Izvestia".  According to a source publication in the structures of the KGB, there feel that buying a modem without a passport "it is not normal". At the same time, the newspaper said that analysts are puzzled how a change in the rules of selling mobile modems bring FSB bountiful harvest information about users.

This is not the first attempt to take control of Russia’s Internet. Three years ago, Interior Minister Rashid Nurgaliyev made a statement to enter passport domain registration and replacement online nics on the original names.
