The new operating system Mac OS X Snow Leopard had been released on August 28. As recently revealed one of its features is a built-in antivirus filter.
It scans the files that users download from the network, and find in them traces of known viruses for Mac, the benefit of them not so much. If a virus is found, the system will inform the user about this and recommend not to open the file and delete it.
However, this filter does not always work. It scans only files that are downloaded through certain programs. If you use other software, or bring the virus on a flash drive, the filter did not notice.
